The National Park that is Alcatraz blew me away.
I am a huge National Park nerd and I have been to so many around the country. But this "park" is by far the most interesting.
When you think if Alcatraz you think of one thing, the prison. But what I never knew is that the island is gorgeous! The plants, the animals all with this erie and ominous backdrop of the most famous prison in the world.
